Has Single Sign-On Arrived?
Portsmouth’s Queen Alexandra Hospital, the Whittington Hospital NHS Trust and Notts Police have all recently adopted single sign-on systems. Has this become an accepted methodology for users?

It’s also worth mentioning, whether they all have the same idea of what SSO actually is - I’ve always considered it to be “once you’re authenticated to the system for a session, you do not need to authenticate to any other systems in order to do your job”. Some other folk consider password synchronisation, as provided by various folks’ Identity Management products, to be SSO; I disagree.
